Our early August rally was set aside to raise money for our chosen charity, Macmillan Cancer Support. The main fund raising event was the sponsored walk around Sywell Country Park on the Saturday morning. The day dawned bright, but soon after we set off on the walk the rains started and unfortunately they lasted for most of the day. During the afternoon there were a number of other fund raising activities such as the book and cake stall, afternoon teas, the silent auction, a raffle and a number of other stalls, including a sell out of Graham and Sheila’s beans! We were delighted to see 12 units on the rally and others joined us for the Charity activities. Thanks to Ken and Margaret for finding us a wonderful site and Marshaling the rally and to Graham and Sheila for assisting.
