Whilst the weather was mixed, 12 units enjoyed the Teddy Bears’ Picnic rally at Ingles Hill Farm. The weather did improve when Steve and Margaret arrived for the Saturday afternoon and the picnic took place out on the field to the accompaniment of appropriate music and song. Sue, Margaret and Joan produced the picnic which consisted of sandwiches and teddy bear crisps, a wonderful assortment of little cakes and the very wibbly wobbly jelly and blancmange. Joan made a fabulous teddy bear cake which was enjoyed by all. Margaret turned her hand to face painting and produced teddy bears of all ages.
