2008 Holiday Rally at Port Eynon, Gower

The first Heart of England Holiday rally saw 17 units visiting the beautiful Gower coast of South Wales.  The weather was characteristically mixed, but this never stopped us getting out and about to visit the many wonderful beaches and local attractions.  Not to be beaten by a little wind, we set off on a beautifully sunny day for a guided walk to see Worms Head.  The gale force 9 blowing at the time provided some wonderful opportunities for photographs and Amanda introduced us to an amazing array of wild flowers that we would never have noticed without being shown.  Awnings went up and down like a fiddlers elbow, but we also had time for a great communal BBQ and an opportunity to celebrate Molly’s birthday.
