With Easter falling in April this year we were all optimistic that the weather might be kind to us, but alas this was not to be the case. There had been so much rain during the previous week that the site was already very soft. This only got worse as the weather did not improve until Easter Monday. However, the conservatory on site provided a very enjoyable venue for evening gatherings and Sue and Merv arranged a variety of different entertainment over the weekend including Easter Egg painting and a few rounds of Mr and Mrs (we hope they still are after this episode!) A number of members also enjoyed Easter Sunday lunch in the conservatory.
