May Day Bank Holiday at Dog Lane Fishery

After another short notice move owing to the closure of Emberton Country Park, the May Day Bank Holiday rally took place at Dog Lane Fishery at Napton.

20 members attended this rally for a relaxing weekend of peace and tranquility, set in the heart of the beautiful Warwickshire countryside. This was the first rally of the 2008 season that was free of mud, did not have too much rain and with some warm sunshine, we were able to hold a communcal BBQ.  Napton provided ample opportunity for those who enjoyed walking to visit the village or the Napton flight of locks on the Oxford canal.
